Also purchased the pizza stone.
First up Turfrey were great - best price, quick delivery and good communication. No concerns with their service.
BBQ - following the instructions and assembly was straightforward- until I got to the end and found a large square flat bit of metal. It has a note on it stating “addition to instructions, install at step 2”. There were like 40 steps so I had to disassemble the whole BBQ and start again. There were many swear words.
Used as BBQ: works great 5/5, sears meat with middle sear burner. Gets up to heat quickly, care needed with lid down not to exceed recommended heat settings.
Used as Pizza oven with webber pizza stone: disappointing 3/5
Struggles to get to temperature, even with lid closed and max burners barely gets to 250deg after half an hr (instructions warn max 288 deg or 20min with lid down - no danger of this happening with pizza stone in place.)
Great service and a well made product. Good assembly instructions - allow 2 hours!
