Flare Signature Phoenix Outdoor Fire

The Flare Signature Series is a modular, masonry outdoor fireplace designed and made in New Zealand. Built around a wide-mouth firebox that accommodates a large fire and simultaneous cooking over embers, the Signature Series has been warming Kiwi homes for over 20 years. Choose your firebox shape, pick a woodbox configuration to suit your space, and finish it to match your outdoor style.

• The Premier (2720 mm): firebox, chimney, double woodboxes

Finish Options: (see images)

• The Standard Finish: A cement-based render applied paper-thin over the masonry to cover any air bubbles and create a modern, clean-lined look. It preserves the natural appearance of concrete and weathers well because it moves with the concrete as it cures. The Standard Finish does not hide the natural hairline cracks that occur in concrete, but it keeps them looking minimal. Unlike some plasters, it will not bubble under heat. Many customers leave the Standard Finish as their final look, while others use it as a base before adding veneer or stone to suit their home or surroundings.
  
  
• The Hammergrind: This finish exposes the stone aggregate within the concrete, producing a textured surface that is pleasantly imperfect to the eye and to the touch. Beyond its visual appeal, the textured surface has the practical benefit of disguising the natural cracking that occurs in concrete. The Hammergrind is applied to the face of your firebox and chimney at no extra cost. Additional surfaces can be added and will be quoted on order. It requires very little maintenance and keeps a fresh look no matter how much the fireplace is used.
  
  

Delivery and Installation:
Flare Outdoor Fireplaces are delivered freight-free to a hiab yard or transport depot. You can install the fireplace yourself following Flare's installation instructions, have your builder handle it, or ask Flare to organise installation for you. Once installed, follow the curing process before lighting your first fire.
